Our Soil Boring/Sampling Process
Our standard turnaround time is 2 to 3 weeks with the option to request expedited service, 1 week guaranteed. Our soil-boring and sampling process begins by drilling one, or for larger projects, multiple borings up to 25 feet deep to obtain representative subsurface samples. This field portion typically takes one day.
The collected samples are then delivered to our lab, where we evaluate soil strength, classify soil types, and test characteristics such as moisture content. Using the test results, we prepare a comprehensive geotechnical report summarizing the subsurface conditions and engineering recommendations, which is usually completed within one week of the boring.
A digital copy of the final report is then provided to the client.
